Many thanks to everyone who came along to the Stroud Hospitals League of Friends Annual General Meeting at the Subscription Rooms on Wednesday 19th September.
Dr Roma Walker, Chair of the League of Friends, presented the Trustees Annual Report which outlined some of the equipment and services funded by the League of Friends along with an insight into some new projects for the future.
The guests were treated to a very enlightening talk about the history of the Hospitals and its League of Friends given by the President Dr Roy Lamb who has been involved for 57 years. Dr Lamb retired from the League of Friends this evening and Dr Gordon Horner presented him with an engraved crystal bowl and flowers for his wife.
