Membership

Stroud Hospitals League of Friends is a membership organisation. We welcome the involvement of the widest possible representation of individuals and organisations from Stroud and the surrounding area. Joining is free and open to all above the age of 18.

Membership of Stroud Hospitals League of Friends

Stroud’s two hospitals and Weavers Croft are recognised as vital to our community, and the League of Friends believe that, in addition to providing financial and practical support, it is crucial to maintain a large, strong and active membership to ensure that the community voice is heard if any threats arise or discussions held about future health provision.

Membership of the League is open to anyone over 18 and is free of charge. As well as being a member, you can, if you wish, also volunteer to assist around the hospitals in various ways. You will be made most welcome.

If you are interested in helping, please complete the form on this page and send it to the Administrator. Alternatively, please telephone or email the Administrator, asking for an application form to be sent to you.

Should you wish to make a donation – and the League of Friends is most appreciative for the help – please complete that part of the application form.

Members’ committee meetings

These are held three times a year and are open to members and volunteers, and to representatives from local community organisations. It is an opportunity for members to be updated and consulted, and an opportunity for Members to hear about various projects directly from speakers involved with them.

We would be delighted to hear from you if you wish to be involved, either as a volunteer helper or simply a member.

Please contact the Administrator on 0300 421 8080 or info@stroudleagueoffriends.org
