A Quiz night was held on 12th Feb at Minchinhampton Cotswold Club with proceeds going to Stroud Hospitals League of Friends. The very generous sum of £255.20 was raised. An amazing 14 teams of between 4 and 6 people participated and a very enjoyable time was had by all during the evening. A raffle was held during the break with all the prizes being donated. These included bottles of spirits, champagne, wine, chocolates and biscuits.
The winning team were The Seedlings who were presented with bottles of wine as their prizes. For those who wanted to stay after the quiz had finished, a card bingo game was organised which raised £16. Everyone agreed that they had a great fun evening and hopefully another quiz will take place next year.
