As you may be aware Stroud Hospitals League of Friends has been providing free Respite Care at Horsfall House, Minchinhampton since 2019. Eligibility is not based on means, but upon need and being registered with one of the 11 local GP practices covering the Stroud area. We can help those families in need with a period of freedom from the care of their relative by providing a free week’s break.
This service was suspended during 2020 but with the vaccination programme now in full swing Horsfall House will be starting to take bookings for the coming months from those families who require Respite Care. Please let any friends who may benefit from this know.
