Stroud Hospitals League of Friends is changing from an ‘unincorporated charity’ into a ‘Charitable Incorporated Organisation’ (CIO), following the unanimous approval to do so from members at the EGM on November 27, 2019.
The necessary documentation is presently being dealt with by solicitors, prior to the CIO registration.
This change will in no way alter the current aims, objectives and modus operandi of the League of Friends, and the current Constitution specifically provides for becoming ‘incorporated’ (clause 14).
There are three ways for you to look at the new constitution:
