Very grateful thanks to the musicians from Frampton-on-Severn Silver Band and to the members of the Stroud Hospitals League of Friends, their families and all who came along to the Stroud General Hospital on Sunday 17 December to spread good cheer providing Christmas music and singing carols to patients and staff on duty. It was a festive and enjoyable occasion for all and a Christmas gift was given out to every patient on Jubilee and Cashes Green Wards at the hospital.

The band and singers also visited Stroud Maternity Hospital where there were six babies, their families and staff to be entertained with a carol and chorus of ‘We wish you a Merry Christmas’.

Afterwards the thirsty and hungry revellers were offered refreshments, sandwiches and mince pies, served by members of the League, which were very much appreciated.
