The League of Friends is very pleased to have been able to purchase a machine for use in the new Audiology Room at Stroud General Hospital to enhance the equipment they have and the service they are able to provide for patients.

The official presentation was made recently by Executive Committee Member, Dr Gordon Horner to Mr Tony Hammond, Interim Audiology Manager, Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The equipment purchased is an Aurical AUD/REM (with Hi Pro) at a cost of over £8,500 and is a Hearing Test and Hearing Aid Fitting machine which will be well used at the Audiology Clinics here in Stroud General Hospital.
