This year’s Annual Hospital Church Service is being held on Sunday 18 October 2015 at 6.30 p.m. in Holy Trinity Church (next to Stroud General Hospital). The service offers an opportunity to celebrate the life and work of the hospital and is organised by the Chaplaincy Co-ordinator here at Stroud General Hospital, Revd. Dr. Alison Evans.
The theme of the service this year is ‘Meeting the needs of those who are experiencing memory challenging illnesses (dementia)’ and Sister Pauline Cox and Nurse Scott Walker will talk about Working with Dementia and the new Vintage Room that has been created here at Stroud General Hospital. The Guest Preacher is Father Jeff Green, the Church of England Chaplain for the hospital. During the service there will be updates on recent developments at Stroud Hospital and on the work of the League of Friends during the past year. The Supertroopers Stroud Age Concern Choir will be singing and there will also be music provided by Frampton Silver Band.
Everyone is invited and you can be sure of a warm welcome with refreshments provided, so please do come along if you can.
