About the Gardening Group

Late in 2018, we acquired a new group of volunteers, The League of Friends Gardening Group, coordinated by Linda Phillips, who tend the gardens around Stroud General Hospital. They work extremely hard providing very pleasant seating areas for staff, patients and visitors to use. Linda also raises funds from the sale of flowers donated by Tesco, M&S and B&Q specifically for the League of Friends. At the end of 2024 Linda had raised an amazing £8,500.00
