Stroud Hospitals League of Friends

We are a small but highly effective local charity funding major infrastructure projects and state-of-the-art equipment for Stroud General and Maternity hospitals, and we provide community healthcare in the Five Valleys.

Stroud General Hospital

Over the years Stroud League of Friends has made significant contributions to the development of the operating theatre, and to the ultrasound, endoscopy and complex leg would services in particular, in addition to many other areas.

Community Projects

In addition to the Respite Care project at Horsfall, the League of Friends fund projects at Stroud Maternity (pre- and post-natal yoga, and singing), and at Weavers Croft (Men’s Shed and Gardening).
